Remember a world before Pinterest? Naaaa neither do we. We can sometimes lose ourselves for hours scrolling through the mecca of trends and ideas that fill such a visually pleasing site.
WELL friends who are getting married. We don’t want to make your week or anything… but… if you haven’t already spotted, Pinterest has released its top wedding trends so far this year, and the ideas are obviously, VERY Pinterest-y. We’ve hand-picked our favourites and popped them for you below!
Large Scale Installations
Filling a ceiling with drapery, flowers or even floating orbs! We vote adding a chandelier to a ceiling of floral *insert love heart eye emoji*. This will add a true sense of wonder to your space, creating a beautiful and long-lasting memory.
From olive to citrus, cypress and birch. Their impact of scale in a space is unique, and if purchased can be planted in the ground after the wedding as a beautiful memento. Hang a boutique crystal chandelier from one of the bigger branches for that perfect juxtaposition between luxe detail and the more natural elements.
Greenery is Pantone’s colour of the year, and is certainly making an impact. Greenery weddings tend to focus on using lush leafy greens like eucalyptus, and detailing with other rich greens like moss, and are looking incredibly popular on Pinterest at present. Look if we had to pick a favourite trend, this would be it. This is the best colour of all time to mix alongside a crystal chandelier.
To compliment those leafy greens Pinterest says that brides are choosing to use flowers as a detailing rather than in huge quantities. Roses are our favourite classic choice and look young and modern in a pale pink or white hue. Now imagine them accompanied by a delicate crystal chandelier!
